The Cross Country run

The Cross-Country Race

5 year old girls... 6 year old girls... 7 year old girls... yay, it’s nearly my turn. I pump myself up with all my energy and, bang! The starter block bashed in together and the race was on. My legs pumping, my heart was beating, and my arms were working hard. In a flash I boosted myself past some people, but then i reminded myself not to run out there to fast. Maybe I will finish the race before anyone else?

I can feel sweat dribbling down my forehead and my chest getting numb. I look down at the wet slippery green grass to see if they are any patches or gooey mud trying to make me slip or lose the race,I don't want to hurt myself. Although I'm not catching up to the leaders,I'm in the top five. I should end up in a good place.

Finally the end is in my sight. I can hear people cheering and screaming for me to finish off the race. So I boost  myself with all my energy to finish off the race. Finally it’s over. Although I did not come in the top three I was proud of myself by achieving my goal...I ran the whole race without stopping and I tried my best.

My character portrait

            My character portrait

He is a tidy and clean person who has twinkly eyes, smooth skin and long eyelashes . He has silky black hair and straight teeth. He has a nose like a potato and shiny pink lips . He is tan and short. He wears plain t-shirt and shorts but most importantly he wears his smile everyday.

He always talks about games with a gentle voice, but sometimes he comes rushing down to me shouting “ look look look at my new high score on this game!” He does a lot of running but not much walking.

He doesn't just think about himself, he thinks about everyone by helping them. Instead of just involving his friends, he involves everybody. He uses his manners everyday, and brings his smile everywhere.
